Programs
A holistic approach to a connected problem. We begin with free residential education, then build outward — health, nutrition, livelihoods, culture, environment and relief — so that whole communities, not just individual children, grow more self-reliant.
Implemented by ANYA Charitable Trust, this project works to improve the quality of life of marginalized tribal communities in Arunachal Pradesh — with a special focus on the Puroik and other underserved indigenous groups. It addresses the interconnected challenges of limited access to education, poverty, poor health and nutrition, inadequate livelihoods and social exclusion.
At its heart is the Anya Residential School, giving children from remote and disadvantaged communities a safe, nurturing place to learn, grow and realize their full potential. Around it, the Trust strengthens whole communities through awareness programmes, health and nutrition, livelihood promotion, women’s and youth empowerment, environmental conservation, disaster preparedness and capacity-building — working closely with local communities, government departments and partner organizations.
Full boarding, teaching and pastoral care for children whose homes are too remote for any day school — the foundation everything else is built on. Education stays free of cost.
Regular nutritious meals, health screening, hygiene and camp-based primary care that keep children well enough to learn and families out of medical debt.
Vocational training, agriculture, entrepreneurship and market linkages that turn a young person’s capability into a household’s income and independence.
Community-owned programs that protect Puroik language and culture, and conserve the fragile hill ecosystems these communities depend on.
A standing response for the floods and landslides that regularly sever hill villages — emergency supplies, shelter, rehabilitation and rebuilding.
Quality education, residential care and scholarships for marginalized children.
Child health, nutrition, hygiene, sanitation and basic healthcare.
A safe, nurturing environment where every child grows with dignity.
Leadership, life skills, vocational training, sports and career guidance.
Sustainable livelihoods and income-generating activities for families.
Conservation, afforestation, waste management and climate resilience.
Holistic development and cultural preservation of the Puroik people.
Emergency relief, rehabilitation and recovery during disasters.
Education, leadership, health awareness and economic empowerment.
Health, education and infrastructure through participatory development.
